Patterns on little hands 🌈

Today patterns stepped out of the book and onto our little hands! 🥰🌈

The children used colourful pieces of drinking straws to make regular, repeating patterns and turn them into beautiful bracelets. They then wore their bracelets on their right wrists to learn “right and left” in a practical, memorable way. ✋✨

An engaging activity combining maths, hands-on work, hand–eye coordination and recognising the right hand.

Learning lasts longer when it involves making and experiencing.
