When calm becomes part of learning...

Sometimes we accompany maths and drawing activities with gentle meditation music, helping children think, colour and solve problems in a calm, relaxed setting. 🎨➕➖

Gentle music can help maintain attention, reduce tension and improve focus on an activity by reducing distracting stimuli and creating a calmer environment. Combining it with drawing and maths also engages visual skills, fine motor skills, accuracy, hand–eye coordination and problem-solving at the same time.

In Grade 1, learning is more than finding the “right answer”; we practise helping children stay calm, sustain attention, think and enjoy learning. 🌱🧠✨

Sometimes a calm classroom encourages more active minds.
