🛒 When the classroom becomes a market!

Today our classroom was filled with excitement and the wonderful sounds of learning! To help children see maths and money management from a fresh perspective, we set up a buying-and-selling game using their snacks.

📚 Learning goals: understanding that the same amount can be made in different ways—for example, how to make 200 rials using 10-rial and 100-rial coins.

🧩 Building accuracy in calculations and working out change.

🧩 Practising thinking and decision-making in a situation that reflects everyday life.

Using the coins they had brought, the children enthusiastically played the roles of shopkeepers and customers. Seeing those “Aha, I understand!” moments in their eyes was our greatest reward. 😍
