🧩🌈 This time, assessment means play and hands-on learning!

Today the children demonstrated what they had learned in a different way, using colour Sudoku and beads. The aim was not simply to find the right answer, but to assess accuracy, concentration, pattern recognition, logical reasoning and problem-solving.

In this kind of assessment, children think in a cheerful, active setting instead of experiencing the anxiety of questioning or a paper test. The teacher can also observe and assess how they think and reach an answer. 🌱

Working with colourful beads and hands-on materials engages the eyes, mind and hands together, helping to develop hand–eye coordination, fine motor skills, visual attention and colour classification.

Here, assessment means: think, touch, move, try—and find the answer yourself! 🧠✨
